the claws are close to an inch and a half long. paired with these claws is a 7 of sorrows sacred heart rosary connector, cast from an antique medal.
vintage, hand patterned chains complete the piece.
the small oval shaped plaques patterned into the chain are meant to represent the "prayer beads" of the necklace, totaling 12 each with the heart representing number 13.
these can be used in a way similar to rosaries although i am suggesting something outside of catholica. of course, the piece can be worn for purely aesthetic reasons as well.
the necklace is made to slip over the neck, just like a real rosary, however, if you would like a clasp added please send me a note.
measures 19 and 1/2 inches long.
