Like the design of a bathroom tile in a 300 year old manor house, or the flocked paper of an Arts & Crafts period library, the design on this reclaimed tin is timeless.

The golden floral and chess-board design on the gently domed shape is backed by a dark Royal Blue. It is tin reclaimed from a Tea gift container, then the shape has been sawn out and forced into a new form in my homemade hydraulic press and templates. The tin form has then been set into a custom made, flat-backed sterling silver setting, the back of which has a subtle stars texture. Two semi-precious beads accent the colours and two black and blue silicone rubber cords attach to a silver clasp. A one of a kind piece.

Close-fitting pendant cord is 41cm end to end (16"). Shape is 3.5 x 3.5cm (just under inch & a half by same).

Bottom picture shows an example of how my pieces are presented, bagged and gift-wrapped in vintage magazine / dictionary papers acquired from booksellers.
