Sitting in its over-sized dish is my egg shaped berry bowl. It is wheel thrown with white stoneware clay and then altered to an oblong egg shape. The handle is a simple elongated circle cut into the bowl. The hole pattern is made simple. It'll hold enough berries for one person. The glaze is a creamy white that works together with the speckles in the clay. It has an earthy feel and yet elegant in color.
So many of my customers have been requesting the dish to go with my colander that I now make sets as defaults. The dish is quite handy for catching the water after rinsing those berries.
