This necklace is composed of 3 leaves, one large and two small, each with a different pattern. In our other designs, signal emitting cells were distributed evenly creating patterns of consistent density. Here we played with the source density to create a patchy network. The results remind us of fall when leaves begin to slowly decay and their eaten away regions give us glimpses of underlying structure.
The pattern was grown in our computer simulation of leaf venation and etched from a sheet of stainless steel. It comes with a sterling silver. Necklace is 29.5" in total length.
