This edition of knives has a brown-orange painted handle and a golden yellow handguard. They measure 9 1/2" long, 2" wide at the handguard, 1/2" deep at the handle and blade, and 1 1/2" deep at the handguard.
==The story behind the weapons.txt==
I originally conceived of making pixellated weapons back in June of 2010 when I was accepted into the Artlantis Arts and Music Festival here in Atlanta Georgia. Aside from selling my drawings, paintings, and prints I wanted to do something unique to the setting. And then BAM! It hit me! Make my booth into an item shop just like in the videogames!
And so I began formulating my approach to building these lifesize but nonfunctional objects. I dug through my voluminous collection of sprite sheets, screenshots, and all other captured videogame imagery. After whittling down my selections, I then did drawings of the weapons on grid paper and used--GASP-- math to figure out the proportions needed to make the in-game objects roughly life size. After a little manly cuttin', gluin', and paintin' here we are!
==Disclaimer.dis==
These knives are intended to be used as props and/or toys, not actual weapons. You will be hard-pressed to pierce skin much less leather/mithril armor with these knives. Wear them on your belt to a pirate party, hang them on your wall beside your real swords and knives, but do not try to stab someone with them! You're on your own once you try that routine ;)
==About me.bio==
I have been making art based on obscure videogame imagery for about 5 years. If you are interested in seeing more of my work, I have a flickr I post work to http://flickr.com/pressstarttobegin
I try my absolute best to maintain a high level of quality in my pieces for your benefit as well as mine. When I fail to meet those standards, I can work with you to either replace or refund the purchase.
