I love patchwork quilts! I think it's a great way to show off some fun fabrics... and the fabrics in this quilt are my absolute favorites! I used prints from Denyse Schmidt's Flea Market Fancy line, which is sadly now out of print and very hard to find.

For the backing, I used a lovely darker turquoise cotton solid and added in an improv style block made out of flea market fancy in the lower corner. I've quilted it by machine with simple straight lines on the diagonal, alternating a single line with a double line, and bound it in a nice chocolate brown solid. The binding has been hand sewn to the back for an invisible finish.

It's been washed and dried and it measures about 36" x 42". All ready for your favorite little one (because babies deserve a little flea market fancy too, right?!)
