This photograph is from my trip to Scotland in 2005. I think it one of the most beautiful countries in the world - or at least of those I have visited so far! The land is rich with history, color, and life; although I had never been there before, I felt like I was coming home.

I've always loved this image and how it seems so alive. The play of the shadows on the road and the sun lighting up the beautiful greens and rich reds convey the promise of hope and possibility.
