This wreath has been made entirely from real feathers. Crafted on a styrofoam wreath frame, it is, well...light as a feather. It features natural tans,brown and ivory. I have clipped some of the feather tips, making them more proportional to the design.
This completed wreath measures roughly 17 inches in diameter.
SPECIAL NOTE: My dried flower wreaths are made from mostly locally grown materials from my own gardens and native woodlands.
The flowers, foliage and buds are harvested only when they are ready. This means that there is a limited supply available.
SPECIAL MESSAGE ABOUT NATURAL PRODUCTS: Dried flowers and fresh greenery are effected by their surroundings. They are, after all, part of nature...and I usually do not use any preservatives. Fresh greenery that is kept too warm will drop its needles or leaves more quickly. Dried flowers will fade in sunlight and mold in high humidity. The only way to avoid these kind of things completely is to purchase totally artificial products. I promise to deliver the finest product that I can create, but I can offer no guarantee as to how long it will last in your specific environment or under your care.
And as with most wreaths (except evergreen …who like it really cold), they will stay nicer longer if hung indoors only.
