I walked along Elfreth's Alley when I was hanging out in the Old City section of Philadelphia. Elfreth's Alley is "our nation's Oldest Continuously Inhabited Residential Street. The Alley's 32 row houses were built between 1728 and 1836 and are among the oldest rowhouses in Philadelphia."
The houses are very colorful and you can explore down a side alley to a courtyard filled with birds. I love historic sites and imagining life in the 1700's.
