Alpaca Blue is a 2ply Fingering yarn made of all british fibres: 70% softest alpaca and 30% Bluefaced Leicester wool , making a gorgeous, soft, lustrous yarn perfect for knitting beautiful winter accessories.
This yarn has been carefully hand painted in shades of grey, from gentle silver to dark graphite, enlivened by the beautiful natural sheen of the fibres.
One 100gr skein contains a generous 400m of yarn, enough for many shawl/shawlette type patterns and knits up slightly finer than typical 4ply sock yarns.
