Dress your apple in style with this cute little apple cozy! Not only will everyone at school or the office notice your lunch, it may help keep your apple from bruising as well. Surprise your sweetheart today by packing his/her lunch bag and sending an apple and cozy along! Works very well for peaches and other fruits too!
You will need a G/6 (4.25 mm) hook and approx. 30 yards of worsted weight cotton yarn, a 3/4 to 1 inch button, and a darning needle to complete. Very quick project, and fun too! Pictures included in pattern for reference.
A quick note: If you want a larger cozy, go up a hook size and add 2 rows before decreasing. This makes a nice size for those big apples!
