Green Maple Samara Seeds (Maple Keys) Botanical specimen pendant

Inspired by 19th century botanical specimen illustrations, these lovely pendants are created by suspending a plant fragment in clear resin against an aged paper background with handwritten notes. This particular sample is a samara seedpod from a Maple tree, commonly called "whirlybirds", "spinners" or "helicopters".

The pendant measures 1"(2.5cm) and 3/4"(1.9cm) by 1/8"(.3cm) and is attached to a brass bail. This listing is for the pendant only.
Note: due to the nature of using live plant specimens, some color may fade over time.
