Oh fishing fishes, is what the bears do nowadays? - you might think and I will agree. But bears catch fishes for their tales you see. And when I say catch, I mean as in "hello, how are you?" catchy way not the "come with me home right now but first sit in this bucket" way.
And tales fish knew as as many as there are fish in the lake. Which quite frankly is a lot.
Fish are of travelling kind, you see - coming and going almost with the birds. But what's different is that birds go far and just take a glimpse in the intermediate (the ones that are in between) surroundings. But the fish travel slowly, day by day, appreciating everything there is to see around.
So they would know the count of bricks in that new bridge rabbits built and if the owl has change anything in her garden. Because there was a little canal going just by the owls house.
And a fish would not be a true one if she would not be talking. And as they were the fishiest fishes you can get, they were chatting all the time.
"Hello fish, tell me all that is new!" bear greeted some that were closer to the lake and stepped into the boat. He pushed it away from the bank and let it slide.
And leaned back he gazed in the blue sky and listened to the fish talking.
