This was a stunning vintage satin Jessica McClintock gown that has been transformed into my Art Deco Queen of Hearts. The costume comes with an elegant prong set rhinestone metal tiara. The red enamel heart in the center is, is removable. Tiaras with hearts are rather formal. With this one you can remove the heart and your tiara is ready to wear in more casual setting such as the market or neighborhood parties.
Oh yes there are also a pair of chest board fingerless gloves and a black satin ribbon with a large faceted red Lucite heart choker. The colors are jet black, snow white and a deep rich scarlet red. The strapless bodice and the skirt are embelished with silver sequened heart trim.
All that is missing from thi costume is a silver tray of fresh baked tarts! While this costume was designed with the Queen of Hearts in mind, one could also use it for the Red Queen from Alice in Wonderland.
