The most charming brooch circa WWII.
A celluloid airplane with a pin back has a chain attached to the tail with celluloid letters hanging from it spelling out 'MARY'. At the other end is a small metal pair of wings - like the kind a pilot would wear - and there is a pin back on that piece too. You wear the brooch pinning the plane and the wings a couple of inches apart so that the MARY letters dangle in-between.
The airplane is 1 1/2" long.
