This one-of-a-kind felted camera case was designed and handmade in Portland, OR by the Duchess of Felt: LeBrie Rich.

I styled the camera case to look like an abstracted digital camera. This cute pouch is wet-felted around a plastic resist, so it has no sewn seams. The felt is thick and dense enough to protect your camera from harm, while not being bulky like most hard cases.

How it is made:

1. I dyed the wool with low-toxicity acid dyes in delectable colors.
2. Layed out the fiber with all the designs in place.
3. Wet felted the case by using hot soapy water, and agitating the piece with my hands so the fiber matts together.
4. Fulled the case by rolling it with very hot water--- this makes it shrink and become very durable.
5. Attached two pink snaps.

The inside dimensions of the case: 3 1/2" x 3" x 1 1/4" (9 x 7 x 3.5 cm). It fits an Olympus 740, Canon Coolpix, or any compact digital camera snugly width-wise with a little width to spare. If you have sizing concerns, feel free to contact me.

Thanks so much for supporting handmade. If you like the concept behind this camera case, you may also love my trompe l'oeil felt watches:http://www.etsy.com/shop/PenFelt?section_id=6450928
