Maple Wooden Clock

There is something so appealing about the design of vintage wind up alarm clocks. This piece has been modelled after a vintage Russian alarm clock. It has been made out of maple, however, it could also be made from cherry, walnut, or white oak. Using an all wood construnction allows this clock to be used outside the bedroom, as a simple aesthetic timepiece.

In place of a wind up mechanism I have used a quartz continuous motion movement. This eliminates the droning tick...tick...tick sound and makes for a perfectly silent clock.

The clock shown here is not an alarm clock. If you would like to use it as such it can be made into one. Feel free to convo me for details.
