I am undertaking commissions for similar steampunk faerie ballgowns (complete with flapping and light up wings) in any colour you would like!
Why not create a pink gin Faerie? a white russian faerie?
This outfit consists of...
french knickers.
fully steel boned corset.
silk chemise.
a steel hooped crinoline cage.
a net and lace petticoat with peephole through to the underwear.
a silk and embroidered sari drape and swag.
a silk bodice.
a miniature silk top hat
It looks amazing with a matching coloured wig!
If you would like to see more pictures before finally commissioning, please do ask. The corset on this particular gown is a particularly curvy one from an original victorian pattern, a less extreme waist is available for those who don't habitually tight lace.
To create a gown for an overseas client, I make a fully boned bodice toile (mock up) which is sent for you to try on and mark any alterations. For clients in the UK a fitting at my studio is preferable.
The wings are very sturdy, made by British steampunk guru "Herr Doktor" and feature a solid "steamed" base with light up UV plastic flapping mechanism.
Everything I create is couture made to the highest standards from gorgeous fabrics, for further examples of my huge gowns do have a look at www.bridal-originals.co.uk
