As a huge fan of cathedral architecture, and recently re-inspired by Pillars of the Earth, this little piece is a homage to the beauty attained by the discovery of both the gothic arch, and the notion of flying buttresses. Both these discoveries contributed to the achievements of taller windows, taller buildings and more light in architecture or the era.
The piece is 6.5 inches by 16.25 inches and includes chain for hanging.
