About the Artist
Mark Burrier is an illustrator and cartoonist. He has received awards from the Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts, Print, American Illustration, 3x3 Magazine, HOW Magazine, STEP Inside Design, and the American Advertising Federation. Mark's illustrations have been shown in galleries in New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, France, and Denmark. His comics have been published internationally and have appeared in various books including Kramers Ergot. In 2007, his comic Noose was nominated for an Ignatz Award and was named "Best Comic Book" by the Baltimore City Paper. Mark currently lives in Frederick, Maryland with his wife and their ever-accumulating book collection.
