The Argus C3 is a rangefinder camera, it followed the Argus C2 in 1939. The C3 the bricks became America’s best sold 35mm film camera series. The lens is the Argus Coated Cintar 50 mm f/3.5 – f3.5 to Infinity. This historic Argus Camera is in good condition, all levers, wheels, lens, and buttons move freely, the shutter fires, no further testing was done. This great used camera is sold as a collectible and sold as is.
Kodak No 2A Folding Hawkeye Model B Vintage 1920s
This Kodak Hawkeye was made in the late 1920s in Rochester, NY by Eastman Kodak and takes 116 film. The camera is in good age specific condition with some small bare spots and tarnish, the bellows is in good condition and the shutter fires, no further testing was performed. This Kodak NO 2A Folding Hawkeye is sold as a collectible and sold as is.
Kodak Brownie Special Six-16 – Designed by Walter Dorwin Teague, this large box camera uses film size 616 and was manufactured by the Eastman Kodak Company in the United States between 1938 and 1942. It is built very solidly of metal. It was the larger version of the Kodak Six-20 Brownie Special Camera. With a trapezoid body, the Six-16 Brownie Special is a unique camera. Hardy and easy to use, it was a commercial success from September 1938 to July 1942. The Lens & shutter are typical: meniscus lens and rotative shutter, two speeds : instantaneous and Pause. The focusing is done by selecting one of the two ranges of distance offered : “6 to 15 feet” and “above 15 feet”. The shutter release located on the top of the camera can be locked in order to avoid an unexpected snapshot. On the other side is the film advance wheel. The camera has, on the left, a folding stand used to position the camera vertically, due to the rectangular format. This special vintage camera is in very good condition and all knobs, levers and wheels move, turn and click as normal.
