Matilda was both hand- and machine-sewn from white and green fleece and has two black plastic safety eyes that are securely attached. Her bandages are a bit fragile, however, and she is not recommended for young children or rough play. She can stand on her own though she's a bit temperamental and sometimes requires some adjustments before doing so (her tired old bones just don't cooperate the way they used to).
