I created this tiny tile by pressing one of my handmade clay stamps into a piece of porcelain clay. Then I cut it into a rectangle, stamped "ARRGH" into it, and fired it a first time. After it came out of the kiln, I rubbed black under glaze into the pattern, and after rubbing it off of the raised design, I hand applied a yellow transparent glaze to the hat, clear to the skeleton, and light aqua to the background of the tile, and fired it a second time - a lot of time to create this tiny tile! It measures about 2" across, 2 5/8" high. A super strong magnet is securely attached to the back.
This is a one of a kind tile - perfect for "Talk Like A Pirate Day" on September 19, or for anytime you're feeling a little piratey!
