They are crocheted using a tight thermo stitch so are fairly dense, with ample flap overlap to keep in the warmth.
The idea for thumb flaps was given to me by a customer after trying to use a pen while wearing her new convertible gloves.
With a flick of your finger you can open the thumb flap and use a pen without removing your gloves. Or pop both thumb flaps and you can text away on your cell!!
This pair measures about 6.5"(16.5cm) in circumference and 6.25"(15.9cm) from wrist to tip of mitt without any stretching. After compensating for the density of the yarn these should fit a hand about 6 to 6 5/8 (15.2 to 16.8cm) in size. The cuffs are about 3.5"(8.9cm)wide.
The gloves are displayed on size 6 hand forms.
To find out your glove size measure from the base of your palm to the tip of your middle finger. Also measure around your palm at the knuckles. The measurements are usually the same, but if not, go by the larger number or check the numbers I have listed.

There is a loop and button to keep the flap back on each glove when going fingerless. I try hard to find just the right buttons to accent each pair of gloves.
Made of an easy care acrylic/wool blend they are machine wash and dryable. I have prewashed them so there'll be no surprise shrinkage.
