The wood is from Fort Loudon Lake here in East Tennessee.... it measures 18" in length and is 7" in width. There are 7 different pieces of crystal adorning this windchime and they make beautiful sounds! The crystals have been collected from as far as the west coast of San Francisco to right here in Music City Nashville Tennessee....
This peice is very durable, however I would recomend keeping it from the elements. It is strung with teflon coated wire and crimps. It has over a ten pound test on each individually strung crystal. It could withstand mild wind, but I would use good judgment in placing it. The crystals are antique and do have a few spots from wear on them, but I think it gives the piece character! You can see from the pictures, they are beautiful. It hangs from braided hemp rope. This I believe keeps the rustic look while the crystals bring the city right on in!
