A nod to the 1997 sweeping epic song 'Bittersweet Symphony', the title inspired by the 1976 made-for-TV movie based on the book 'Sybil' and referencing a device used in Todd Solodnz' 2004 film 'Palindromes'wherein he uses several actors of varying race and gender to play a young girl.
