I crafted this journal using high-quality, up-cycled leather that I salvaged from a local leather shop's scrap box. The leather has a soft glossy finish and great feel. I chose it mostly for the color though, something about yellow is daring and cheery.
This journal closes with a large unique key that is an authentic antique skeleton key.
The interior text block is comprised 100% recycled paper, acid-free paper. It contains extra paper and has 140 (280 both sides) pages sewn together by hand using the Long Stitch method. This method, when used along with Irish Linen thread, ensures for a strong and durable spine and pages that lay flat when open.
This handmade journal measures:
6.5 inches tall
5 inches wide
1.5inches thick.
