These helmets are dense plastic replicas of Thor's Helmet or steel replicas of medieval helmets. The aluminum flame tubes are raised above the helmet so that there is no heat transfer from the tubes to the helmet. There is a simple flow control valve so you can set it to a small wicking flame or crank it up to really get some attention.

I have been wearing a similar "fire hat" at Burningman for several years now. Given the response, I have decided to make a few more. It is an amazing way to light your surroundings and catch yourself of fire. I can not suggest you wear it, I recommend you never wear it, as its dangerous!
