This purse is very sturdily built. The closure is a unique folding metal mechanism, as pictured in the third photo. There are three compartments inside the purse, two open, and one zippered. The zipper in the purse is metal with an interesting circle pull. The is also a pocket in one of the compartments. The sides of the purse are accordion folded, allowing the slightly triangular shaped purse to expand when opened.
The purse is in good vintage condition, but does have some small nicks as you can see in the second picture. The lining inside the purse also has some small marks and discolorations, and there is a small amount of splitting on the inside where the flap opens, as you can see in the fourth picture. But otherwise it is in very good shape, and is a very sturdy bag.
The handles are connected on swivels, making this a very easy to carry purse!

-the bottom of the purse measures 4 ¾ x 8 inches (12 x 20.3 cm)
-the front of the purse measures 6 ½ x 9 inches (16.5 x 23 cm)
-the inside compartments are 5 ½ tall x 8 inches wide (14 x 20.3 cm)
