Visions is the story of a young girl, daughter of an artist, talented herself, to the point of genius, but who perceives the world around her in a far different way than other people. The inspiration for this tale came in part from an antique photograph of a girl from long ago with a very intense stare, and part from reading about certain types of children's sensory disorders, wherein colors become songs, sounds are like things you can touch. I think you will enjoy this short story about someone who appears to be living in this world just as we are, but is not.
Visions is one and a half pages long, with poster board covers, and is enclosed in protective plastic sleeves. It is bound together with vintage ribbon. With the story, I am including a little brilliantly polished stone that contains many bright, changing colors...colors much like the ones that my heroine, Alice, encountered every moment of her day.
