hand dyed 6 cord cotton in bright aqua.
The pendant measures about 2 inches (5 cm) across, and comes on a black 17 inch (43 cm) chain, with a 2 inch extender chain and "lobster" clasp. This lace pendant has not had any stiffener added, since it has a good amount of firmness on its own.
The back of the atom is shown on the hand in the last photo.
Tatting is a knotted form of handmade lace, very durable and beautiful, and rather time-consuming to do.
This unusual design is my own original and very challenging to make. The atom tatting pattern is included in my latest self-published book, "Up and Tat 'Em".
