I decided I needed to make some tags with the stately raven of the saintly days of yore.
One of my favorite poems to read to my students is "The Raven" by Edgar Allan Poe. I also enjoy reading myths and legends about ravens, such as the trickster stories. Ravens show up in the mythologies of many different cultures, and I find them fascinatingly beautiful.
Ravens seem to be more popular around Halloween, but I designed these tags to be appropriate for any time of the year.
The image on each tag is a print of a digital collage I created using a black raven, a red hour glass, and the word "Nevermore" in gray. I print them on white cardstock, hand-cut them into tags, punch a hole, and add black ribbon. Each tag is approximately 2.5 x 4.5 inches.
You will receive 5 tags. You will NOT receive the bottle of wine in the last picture, it is just to show a nice use for the tags!
