The lid embellishment has a pewter-cast silver butterfly and non-tarnishing silver wire. The box opens on a full brass hinge, has a mirrored bottom for maximum light reflectance, and has felt pads on the bottom.
I put a lot of time and care into creating each hand-made box. They are hand-cut and assembled by me using the copper foil technique. The boxes are soldered together and cleaned. I then lay out the bead and wire design, which can take quite some time as I am meticulous about placement. The embellishments are soldered to the lid and cleaned and then the boxes are hand-polished and cleaned a final time.
These boxes have all been one-of-a-kind. They are pretty enough to stand alone or can house your treasured keepsakes or jewelry. They make wonderful gifts for all occasions including bridesmaids gifts, Mother's Day, birthdays, graduation, holidays, a thank you, just because or a sweet treat for you, too.
