Add some tatted elegance to your costume with this beautiful headband.
Part of my Frivolite Tudor Collection, the design for this piece started life as my Christina bracelet. I then chose to add seed beads and other embellishments to make it stand out.
This is perfect for Halloween, fancy dress, Renaissance Faires, Gothic gatherings or just as something to add to your outfit when going out to parties.
I started by hand tatting this in high quality black cotton thread, working in one hundred and ninety six tiny gold seed beads as I went. Five small gold lame ribbon roses were then sewn onto the piece (one in the center and two either side). A 1 metre 7cm black satin ribbon has been woven through the piece and sewn into place. To secure this headband, simply tie the ribbon under the hair in a double bow.
The tatted motif is slightly under 1 1/4 inches (31mm) wide and just over 9 1/4 inches (240mm) long.
This piece should fit all adult heads.
It is not meant for children.
