Myrrh, copal and frankincense scented incense paper folded into origami bats. 10 per package.
Remember the days before you could stop junk mail? Those days before grocery stores offered friendly, reusable canvas bags for cheap? I sure do. My weird environmentalist guilt made me a bit of a hoarder - paper bags, junk mail, all sorts of things I could recycle - but didn't. Since I'm hardly a bright green saint, I still forget my trusty canvas and walk out with a paper bag from time to time.
Rather than bemoan the fate of the sacrificed trees, I decided to make my setback into something fun. Thus these bats.
These origami incense bats (yes, those are bats) burn like incense. I treat the paper with a salt petre solution, and then fragrance them in a tincture of copal, myrrh and frankincense. The result smells vaguely of a really sweet campfire.
Each pack comes with 10 incense bats. The box these arrive in may vary.
Use these only in a heat proof container, and around good ventilation. The smoke can fill up a room fast.
