These fairy castles roll open to reveal a secret surprise inside.
Your magic wands! *ahem* I mean your double pointed needles and crochet hooks!
This is a great way to keep your tools safe and organized. ♥
The mossy roofs are attached with elastic cord.
They stretch up and snap back into place with a pop.
The castles are closed with super strong magnets.
These castles are felted.
In order to achieve this effect you MUST use 100% wool!
Q: What is felting?
When 100% wool is agitated in hot soapy water, the knitting will shrink and matt together and eventually turn to felt! It's like magic! Its super easy, but please use the appropriate wool and do a little test swatch to make sure your wool cooperates. (Superwash wool or overly bleached white wools do not felt.)
Very detailed instructions/tutorials are included for all 3 castles with notes on felting and assembly. Instructions are also given to include 5, 6, or 7 inch long dpns, and to adjust for MORE hooks & needles in case you have LOTS! ♥
A few details:
The mini castle holds up to 5 tapestry & cable needles.
The grey castle holds 11 crochet hooks.
The brown castle holds 13 sets of 5 double pointed needles.
