This is a genuine Sugar Maple leaf. No two leaves are exactly alike. This one measures just over 3 1/8" long x just over 4 1/2" wide at its widest point.
This real Sugar Maple leaf was painted by hand with a copper-based paint so that through the electroplating process, the Copper would adhere to the leaf surfaces. The leaf is perfectly preserved within the Copper.
The Leaf is very durable under normal wearing conditions. Just remove your necklace before entering water,(bath, shower, pool etc..)for best results.
