This is an archival print (giclee) of an original acrylic on canvas I painted as part of a series titled ‘Gone Camping’. Although I love nature, I’d never been much of a camper until my husband Patrick talked me into letting him buy a used pop-up trailer about 4 years ago. Before that, the couple of tent camping attempts we had made for our son’s sake were a bust for me (no sleep, rainy days were miserable) but that old trailer made all the difference. We’ve since upgraded to a vintage fixer-upper Airstream (which we adore) and now I love camping! (Ok, at this point it’s more like ‘glamping’ but still.)

This series is inspired by our favourite provincial park - MacGregor Point, on Lake Huron near Port Elgin, Ontario. Each painting in the series is based on a location in the park. We love this park so much we actually miss it during the long winter season while we wait for camping season to finally come around again.

Specs:

All my reproductions are printed with an Epson Stylus Pro3880 using Epson Ultrachrome Archival Pigment Inks. The paper is a heavyweight Epson Ultrasmooth Fine Art Paper which gives beautiful detail and colour saturation. I sign, title and date each print (if you would prefer not to have me sign the front of the print, just mention it in your note to seller). I package prints in a protective cello sleeve with a cardboard backer and ship them in a non-bending mailer via Canada Post Air delivery.

Print area: approx. 4.25” x 6.25” (fits in a 5” x 7” matte opening with a small white border)
