What makes this product green?
* Felting is long and friendly process , where wool is felt to a solid structure using just clean water, soap and adding lots of hand warm, good energy and intentions.
* All work was done using local resources only.
* Lithuanian local coarsewooled sheep breed has got a cetificate of Lithuanian national heritage, and their growing conditions are consistent with good standards of animals treatment. Buying such wool items you contribute to the preservation of rare and endangered Lithuanian local coarsewooled sheep, whose population is around 200 purebred sheep only.
* Wool carded in a local wool carding. During carding process wool was washed and cleaned without any chemical treatment, it is not carbonised.
* Un-bleached and un-dyed natural fleece! Actually present colors is made mixing the wool of different natural colors.
Caution: if you have any renal disease or sensitive skin, choose items felted from soft wool (e. g. Merino). If you have bronchial asthma, allergy to dust or pet fur, it is not recommended to wear wool items.
The felting process takes time, so I kindly ask You to be patient ant wait about 2 weeks for your item to be made and prepared for shipment.
