This textile canvas is made using free hand machine embroidery on a selection of new and thrifted fabric. The piece is made up of three layers. The first layer is a cotton canvas, the second a grey/blue cotton and the third a fine cotton muslin. I assemble the piece by carefully cutting the shapes and layering the fabric together, the muslin provides a beautiful muted tone and depth to the work.

The piece is mounted on a wooden frame measuring 13.6 x 12 inches, 34 x 30 cm on a standard 18mm wrap.

There is a saw tooth hanger on the back ready to hang.
