I sewed this lovely brooch by hand. It features a yellow swirled center surrounded by lighter yellow petals and two dark green leaves. The shiny metal of the zippers sets it off stunningly. It measures about 2 1/4 inches across.
I love to repurpose and upcycle, especially vintage zippers, which I clean and transform into beautiful flower brooches. They're fun to wear and can be worn with just about anything. They even make great adornments for your hats and bags and can be used anywhere in your house, such as on pillows and lampshades.
