Great classic design, black ebonized wooden handle and glass percolator in the hinged top make this such a charming piece. Bottom is marked Hi-Test Pure Aluminum Made in USA.
This pot measures 8 inches tall and 5 1/8 inches across the bottom and will most likely make 6 to 8 cups of coffee. The pot is complete and in full working order.
It is in excellent condition considering it is nearly 100 years old. There is one small dimple at the base and slight surface scratches which I'm sure would polish out. I like it the way it is so I'll leave polishing to the new owner if so desired.
I say it is rare because I could not find another like it anywhere. I could find no information on the Hi-Test Co and I even searched the US patents and trademarks for info to no avail.
Use or decorate in your shabby chic, country western and primitive prairie home.
