This painting is a riff on the ubiquitous New York City (NYC) "we are happy to serve you" coffee cup. As a native New Yorker, I miss these cups and wanted to play with the words to create phrases of intimacy and seduction. This painting is part of a series of 4 small paintings -- eager to adore you, hippy to serve you, salty to taste you + ready to reach you -- and 1 large painting -- hippy to serve you, venti.
Painted on gessoed masonite board, this appx. 10" x 10" painting would look wonderful framed in a kitchen, bathroom, dining room, foyer or entryway.
