Rooibos is actually an herbal (therefore, naturally decaffeinated), harvested from the "red bush" grown in South Africa. This variety has the appearance of tiny red needles that pack a flavorful punch as well as having a reputation for benefiting one's health.
Two oz. of Rooibos yields 20-24 teaspoons that make 20-24, 5 oz. cups of tea. A cup is not a mug - a mug equals about 2 cups.
This blend is best brewed with an infuser or "tea sak." Bring water to just short of boiling and pour over infuser. Brew for 3-5 minutes. Remove infuser.
