Inspiration for this ring comes from a Chinese tradition. Chinese women often wear rings that they inherited from their ancestors. When the ring is too big, they do not ask a jeweler to modify it, but instead wind red silk thread around a part of the ring, then wear this red part inward toward the palm of the hand. It is a sign of respect to the ancestors and the red thread also signifies a family link. Regrettably this is a tradition that has mostly been lost today. It is why I made this ring.
The silk thread that I used has been treated and waterproofed, but please remove the ring before washing dishes or hands.::))
«Link of family» comes in a matt gift box. For international customers this ring will be sent by registered mail with insurance and tracking number. If you don't need insurance, convo me please. I'll change the shipping price for you.

Thickness of the silver round (polish finish): 4.5mm ( 0.18 inches) diameter
length of the part with the silk thread is approx 2cm (0.8inches).
