I got such a great response, I decided to make it the first piece in my line. This is the original version of my Halloween bat. Hand carved by me using the lost wax technique. Oxidized sterling silver cast bat on an 18" goldfill chain and findings. The jumprings are open (not soldered) but strong and very secure. Spring ring clasp closure.
Note:
"Gold fill: a thin foil of gold is bonded by heat and pressure to a core of brass. The gold becomes a fairly durable layer that will last for many years provided the metal does not encounter heavy wear or chemical contamination.
