In the language of flowers the blue rose traditionally symbolises a mystery, attaining the impossible, or the never ending quest for the impossible. They are believed to be able to grant the owner youth or grant wishes and often portrayed in literature and art as a symbol of love and prosperity to those who seek it.
Inspired by this elusive flower that is never found in nature, the “Mystère” is a vibrant and spirited statement necklace alive with a naturalistic palette of lively blues, greens and earthen browns and black. Another highly textural piece from my new Statement collection, I adore the juxtaposition of the silkily smooth smoky quartz gems against the carved turquoise roses and the rugged, raw energy of the elemental lava stone and green turquoise nuggets.
