Original handmade papercutting- Maine Coon Cat

I design original papercutting patterns from photos I take and sketches I draw. I cut each pattern from 1 to 3 times only, then I discontinue the pattern. Every piece of mine is designed by me, and cut by hand individually by me using an x-acto knife.

This piece is a papercutting of a Maine Coon Cat sitting on a pillow. This pattern is an edition of three, and this piece is the third and final one I have made- Edition 3/3. The piece is cut from white 90-pound light watercolor paper, matted to 8"x10" with pale speckled gray and white matting, and is backed with black paper. This piece is a little different from most of my cuttings, since I cut the pattern totally away from its paper so it is freestanding on the backing.
