The ring started with a red colored fused glass cabochon that has some pinkish-white mixed in. It has been soldered with non-lead solder and has a rustic, bumpy, rough look, but is smooth to the touch. Because of the nature of the style there will be slight irregularities, which are part of the style. The ring setting measures approximately 13mm x 11mm. The band is made from sterling silver wire that has been doubled, creating a raised setting. It is size 6 1/2.
