A true beauty, this shimmering creature. It's especially proud of it's rainbow-colored wings and loves to be admired. But it also likes resting and nesting between your hair, or sometimes also between your pot-plant. Nice side-effect: it just looks stunning on your hair! ;)
THE FACTS:
I made the little dragon out of Polymer Clay, burnt it, painted it and sealed it with varnish. Because I added night-glowing clay, it's glooming in the dark.
The wings are made of strong, handcut photo-carton and are firmly sticked into the body. Also they are covered with varnish. But of course, it's a good idea to be careful with this piece of art and I think it also doesn't like showers very much ;).
Because of the special varnish, it looks like little dew-drops are running along the dragon's wings.
Polymer Clay is a very sturdy kind of clay which is burnt. The finished piece isn't fragile and I covered it with varnish, so it's water-resistant too. I would say a fragile part are the wings, but unless you don't pull and bent them rash, they are also very sturdy (very hard photo-carton, sticked into the body and also covered with varnish).
Length inclusive the dragon: 7,87inch = 20cm.
